OUR STORY
Formed in 2012
Our rescue opened in January of 2014. We were completely foster-based. In 2021 a building was donated by Rich and Anne. Due to city restrictions, we are only able to have 5 dogs at the facility. We are not limited on cats. We only take owner surrenders from Granite City when we have space, and they must be altered. We also do not take aggressive dogs (human or dog) since we have no place to keep them to rehabilitate them.
We are a 501c3 corporation ran by a Board of Directors.

Once we receive your application, we will complete all the checks… vet check, reference check and a home visit will be arranged.
We always need more long term dedicated foster homes for our "unicorn" dogs. These dogs need to be the only animals in the home.
